Bug-E electric vehicle aims to serve as a multipurpose transport solution

Bug-EEver dreamed of owning a buggy for style and a car for your daily travel? Affording both at a same time is now seems a real possibility. The Bug-E an eco friendly, creative and multipurpose solar vehicle designed by a European designer Thomas Young is that solution. The vehicle can either be used as a golf buggy or a simple car for your daily needs. It is that flexible vehicle which can dance to your steering tunes.

The unique concept allows your partner to take on driving in the middle of a road and for that all you have to do is to pull a lever placed next to the knee and shift the steering wheel to the other side. Behind the screen is a hydraulic ram, some universal joints and locking pins, which are used to change the position of the steering wheel. The electric vehicle is powered by a 48V brushless motor, while the look of the car is kept simple and transparent. The concept can even be used as a cab or a share van hoping that the speedometer does show a decent speed range. Adding to this innovative delight is its ease factor to charge and be on the road of maximum efficiency. Similar to other EVs being planned or currently on the roads, this concept also needs a main charging system or a solar charging station.
