Contrived as a deeply ‘poetic satire’ on the ‘light bulb’ catchphrase, this artistic design of a brain-shaped bulb is designed by Solovyovdesign, a Belarusian designer duo of Igor and Maria Soloyov. Graceful in its conception, the contraption is actually a CFL bulb, which consumes less power and has a longer rated life than ordinary incandescent lamps.
Aptly named as the ‘insight lamp’, this adroit bulb is also convenient in its usage, as its dimensions are not much bigger than conventional CFL lamps. Moreover the expansive, open design allows for a dissipative light around a confined space that emanates an ambient effect generally not found in ordinary bulbs.
