Climbing trees, falling from them, hiding behind them or simply running around them, childhood and trees had long been associated. Past tense ‘had’ being the operational word here. The deforestation that followed simpler times, led children to make peace with grass and parks where felling trees was an inevitability. But today, realizing the importance of what is lost and trying to restore it in all its entirety, Arch Dreams in collaboration with Sphere have put together this Bordeaux architectural garden.
Bordeaux literally means, besides the water, staying true to its meaning it really transports you to a world where one can play around nature with the sound of river flowing peacefully alongside! An addition to the kindergarten lawns, this one will transpose them to a world with prospering green interiors, thanks to the green lights and cut them off from the techno-driven world, thanks to the sound filters. These weeping willows are given body with bioplastics made out of starch potatoes, without a doubt, they are biodegradable and hence, environment-friendly.
Woodsworth believed that nature and man share the same soul, no wonder then that man is trying to bring his soul back and trying to make peace with its soulmate – Mother earth.
