Eco Factor: Low-emission yacht powered by a diesel-electric propulsion system.
Blohm + Voss has unveiled a new 120m+ yacht that has been designed to combine the capability of worldwide cruising at a maximum possible comfort level for the owner and 16 guests. The propulsion system of the yacht has been designed for low noise and emissions, while offering the highest level of performance and sustainability.
The exploration yacht features a diesel-electric propulsion system powering three pod drives for a maximum speed of 18.5knots. The yacht features all the modern amenities for the owner and the guests, with the owner’s deck having a spacious duplex suite that is connected via a private staircase to the owner’s spaces on the guest deck.
The guest deck features eight cabins, including six guest cabins and two VIP duplex suites, each with a bedroom on the guest’s deck and dressing room and a bathroom one deck above. For maximum aviation flexibility, the yacht has been designed with two separate heliports, each of which can support a load of up to five tons.
