Eco Factor: Biodegradable garbage bag to encourage people to utilize bio-waste efficiently.

Most of us do not even realize how much energy goes for waste owing to our sluggish behavior to separate the biological waste from residual waste. So, this rubbish bag by Ahha Project of Milano- and Seoul-based group comes to help save energy by forcing us to reconsider our bio-waste disposal habits. Dubbed Energy from Biomass, the biodegradable bag tells how much energy the user can generate with each bag of kitchen waste collected.

This garbage bad is crafted from PLA material, which is easy to use, and a seal allows an easy replacement and removal of the bio bag. The graphics on the bag show that if each of these bags are filled and directed to bio-waste bins, it could produce enough power to make 100 cups of tea, 500 slices of toast or 1000 boiled eggs.
