Bio-degradable Pallet Wrap by Diamant Art

With the onset of winter, the practice of take-home food is in. Gift wrapping has also increased with the approaching Christmas. But, what to do with the gift wraps, which are going to be converted to a huge pile of non bio-degradable wastes? Diamant Art has with it a reply, rather a solution to this. It has opened choices on the market for bio-degradable packaging by expanding its range of recyclable stretch film to include a pallet wrap based on polystyrene. With the recent price hikes in the price of oil, the main component of PVC, such green alternatives have become more competitive on the market.

But, the Toronto-based Diamant does not use PVC in its recyclable stretch film. The plasticizer-free film has been certified by the Environmental Choice Program, an agency set up by the Canadian government as part of a worldwide eco-labeling programme to promote environmentally-friendly products. The company has decided to get into pallet wrapping.
