Eco Factor: Sustainable community tower maximizes use of natural lighting and green spaces.

BIG sees the Taipei City Wall as a stack of apartment blocks, bringing out an aesthetically appealing pixilated design. Presently being developed on an 82,000 sq meter site in Taiwan, the community tower includes the pile of boxes to maximize the site area, providing more light for each residence and access to green space. The residential complex comprises of 15 x 15 x 15 meters boxes that stacked linearly and vertically.

The small spaces between the boxes bring in ample of light, while the bigger ones leave space for a community program. BIG offers five type of space for the residents that include a green forest that provides a spectacular view of the city, a Japanese stone garden for relaxation and immersion, a wooden pool garden offers great environment foe swimming, a playground for children and last but certainly not the least a rooftop terrace on the 25th floor. This uniquely designed tower will make a perfect green urban community structure that opens avenue for recreation and sustainable living.
