Supposedly inspired by the robust yet exquisite frame of the 1960’s Holden Monaro (an automobile that was produced by GM Holden Ltd, an Australian subsidiary of General Motors), design studio Hassel has conceptualized the all new Australian High Speed Vehicle. Basically a high speed train (as the name suggests), the conception will feature a unique double decker form with an exhilarating speed along the lines of Maglev Trains.
The double decker bearing will ensure a spacious interior endowed with a myriad of zoning options including open commuter seating, private meeting quarters, luxurious dining, and even a convenience store. But the modernistic allure of this train stretches even further than just the visual aesthetics and convenient accessibility features. With the paradigm shifting towards green technology, this conception can be said as Australia’s answer to the propitious progression of sustainability.
Though detailed specifications have not yet been released by the studio, what we have come to know is that this concept has been contrived primarily as a low carbon alternative to public transportation. That fervently ‘green’ attribute, along with its high speed maneuverability and stringent safety features, makes this conception ideal for large scale, low emission transportation between already congested regional cities. And what’s more; the traffic deliriums within the high density urban areas will also be considerably reduced, as the bulk of the transit circulation would be regulated by such modernistic, high speed trains.
