With the techie giants treading the eco-friendly path, we can look forward to all the roads leading to a green earth. Although its logo is still a metallic white apple, the company has decided to undergo the most significant metamorphosis. Apple Inc.’s existing MacBook and MacBook Pro notebooks will shed their plastic covers for ones constructed from more eco-friendly materials such as aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel. The new upcoming MacBook Pro will have design features borrowed from both the aluminum iMacs as well as the MacBook Air. Though precise details are admittedly limited given the ongoing revision process, it’s presumed this will include instances of matte black on portions of the casings, oversized trackpads, and the adoption of the MacBook Air’s keyboard by the MacBook. Are they genuinely concerned about environment or is it just another marketing gimmick to boost its sales? Via ProductReviews
