Eco Factor: Eco-friendly sculptures created from old newspapers.
Eco-conscious American artist Nick Georgiou’s sculptures make us believe that newspapers aren’t just for reading, as the designer is recycling old newspapers and transforming them into strange animal sculptures that are inspired by the death of traditional press and paper media.
The designer states that books and newspapers are becoming artifacts of the 21st century and are being replaced by digital content. Nick uses old newspapers that are either collected by him or donated by others, which are then folded and stitched together to create various creatures.
