This ultra-luxury yacht is one-of-a-kind on the planet and has been a marquee design when it comes to going green on waves with style and panache. Ambrosia once again was under the spotlight at Hainan Rendez-Vous annual extravaganza and it has wooed many more not just with its form, but also functionality.
Launched by the famous Benetti yard in Viareggio, Italy Ambriso has an exterior designed by Espen Oino, while the lavish interiors were crafted by French designer François Zuretti. Ambrosia is an amalgamation between style and sensibility with its technically advanced engineering and green propulsion system that is a trendsetter.
The diesel-electric Azipod propulsion system inside Ambrosia allows the yacht to cruise along at its top speed of 16 knots without depending entirely on fossil fuel. The electric engine allows it to cut down on carbon emissions to a very large extent while even the excessive noise is reduced due to lesser dependence on gasoline.
