All4Solar’s 30HP Aquawatt set to become the world’s most powerful electric outboard motor

30 hp aquawatt electric motor
The news is just out; All4Solar announces a 30HP Aquawatt electric motor. The product will be showcased and launched at next month’s Sanctuary Cove Boat Show on Australia’s Gold Coast.

This news is welcomed by boating enthusiasts who have been looking for alternate methods to propel their sailing experience. The motors provides you a 30HP i.e. 22KW thrust, which is almost 3 times more powerful than any electric outboards currently available.

Currently two versions are available – the 20HP (13KW) and the 30HP (22KW). Both of these are driven by AC motors and powered using a 48V or 80V LIFEPO4 battery. The battery cells are charged using photovoltaic solar panels, with a charger from the grid or generator. Electric outboards are proven to be more cost effective in the long run as they are not prone to regular maintenance, have less noise emission and no hazardous emission at all.

With the new 30hp engine, it can achieve speeds of more than 31mph with a four meter boat. Now this will be good for anyone who operates a petrol outboard in a marine environment.

As 30HP Aquawatt is set to become the most powerful electric outboard motor in the world, and taking into considerations the benefits of using the natural resources to power itself it will be just leading this league for now.
