All-electric L3 concept bike for agilely scampering through urban traffic

L3 Electric Bike
Minimalism seriously takes a new meaning with the L3 electric bike concept. Conceived by Columbian designer Camilo Parra Palacio specifically for a zero emission urban commute, its ultra-petite form with the uniquely curvaceous frame-seat combo, makes it a perfect mode of transportation for those congestion infested city roads and streets.

Given its small demeanor, the bantam vehicle can quite pack a punch with its 1000 W motor and six 12 V 20 Ah Pb acid batteries. According to the designer, it can romp to a top speed of 50 Km/hr and “designed for traveling 7 hours within a range of 20 km with only one charge (at a top speed), that can be recharged in 4 hours.” Moreover, the bike comes with a plethora of user friendly features such as adjustable handle bars, safety brakes, throttle, combined direction system and even battery level indicators.

The designer also makes it clear that this single seater vehicle can conveniently cater to the thriving tourism industry. Imagine you are circling along the likes of the Great Pyramid or the Colosseum, and that too in a zero emission mode, without flexing any of your leg muscles. But of course that doesn’t necessarily mean that one can’t take the L3 out for a full fledged urban spree, whether you are attending your mundane office meetings or just letting off your over accumulated stress ‘steam’. The only downside to this fantastically green conception is that it can appear to be too much minimalistic for some urban users.
