Airbus’ next-gen carrier will generate energy from passengers’ heat

Airbus Future PlaneAirbus will now introduce a new cutting edge technology in its aircraft that will eventually create energy from the heat produced from a passenger’s seat – a highly futuristic but possible development! Airbus has been closely working on this and after much brainstorming and reinvention have come out with this brilliant concept wherein the ‘auto-morphing’ seats would take the shape and size of the passenger occupying it and would also store any extra heat that would be produced by the passenger and then using it to power various areas of the aircraft. The auto-morphing and heat harvesting have essentially been achieved by utilizing smart components in the seat.

Furthermore, the futuristic aircraft would essentially have a distinctly different class system as opposed to the one we have at present so as to provide a totally different experience to its passengers. Airbus has developed a zone-system for their futuristic carrier that would comprise of:

1. The Smart Tech Zone (present-day Economy Class) – would be the rear end of the aircraft.

2. The Interaction Zone (present-day Business Class)would comprise of the middle area wherein holograms would be used to help passengers to unwind in a very comfortable lobby-like ambiance – an ideal place to conduct emergency meetings etc.

3. The Vitalizing Zone (present-day First Class) – which is situated towards the front which is actually an area that caters to the passengers’ senses and comfort with hi-tech ‘bio-morphing’ chairs that can perform acupuncture or massage on the passenger. The ceiling of this zone can provide you a full view of the sky with its optional transparent mode and you can enjoy the view as you fly just like a bird.
