Automated vehicles and engines go hand in hand, as is quite evident from the numerous cars, motorcycles, buses and trucks running on the streets. But, what if there was a conception that totally forgoes the usage of some traversing mechanism, and thus circumvents the very basis of emission? Well, Argentine designer Nico Jara has exactly done that, by conceptualizing a completely zero emission vehicle, perfectly ideal for a zesty urban commute.
In conventional vehicles the heat or electric energy is converted to mechanical energy for the whole system to be in a state of motion. But here the designer has uniquely contrived of a mechanism based upon the attributes of the most fundamental energy conversion in physics, that is the conversion of potential energy to kinetic energy. The automobile will incorporate an engine system in which the potential energy can literally be loaded up. And once the driver mounts the vehicle, he/she can ‘unleash’ that potential energy for it to be converted to resultant kinetic energy for displacement(according to laws of Physics)…
Thus at the end of the day we could have a ‘car’ that can be adequately described as being self powered, utilizing an innovative yet simple propulsion system, and not to mention having perfectly zero emission attributes.
