A multi-terrain, custom cruiser bike by Felt and Carroll Shelby

Here’s an interesting collaboration. Felt, leading manufacturers of commercial competitive bicycles has teamed up with Carroll Shelby, creator of the immortal Shelby GT350, to build a bike that is modeled after the very same car. We are disappointed to report, though, that this bike doesn’t go anywhere near the GT350. Not unless The Flash is riding it, at any rate.

It’s called the Shelby Cruiser. Now, when you look at comparative photographs of the car and bike, the resemblance is there to be seen. From the graphics, to the thicker tires, to the overall aerodynamic design of the Shelby Cruiser, you can see the homage being paid to the classic Mustang.

The Shelby Cruiser features three Nexus internal gears, 36-spoke wheels, and a springer fork for better handling and precision on multiple terrains amongst other things. The bikes are also numbered on the production line, which is a neat touch. Exclusivity comes at a price, however. If you want to get yourself a Shelby Cruiser, you’ll have to part with $999.
