Based on the sleek, curvaceous frame of the exalted Hyosung GT650R, the ‘green’ inside is what really got us interested here. Instead of some lowly gas guzzling mechanism, this sports-bike is powered by a 50Kw (67 hp) AC induction (electric) motor.
Supplemented with a high discharge and sturdy LiFePO4 battery pack, the intricate Battery Management System also takes care of the safety side of affairs as well as battery charging functions. Coming to the driving attributes, the top speed can jump to over 100+ MPH, whereas the 7.7Kwh capacity provides a range of up to 75 miles and can be recharged with the powerful 1500 watt on-board charger in less than seven hours. Moreover, the elaborate drive system is stylishly orchestrated by the snazzy, yet muscular chassis.
