There are villages in the remotest areas, which are long forgotten, god-forbidden. They are either no productive area for the politicians and industrialists. Thus, for ages people live there without access to electrical power and light. But, who don’t need them?
Energy efficient solid state (LED) technology exists today and can be put to better use. Even in small amounts, digital light can provide educational opportunities, improve community literacy and health, and increase daily household economic production. People of such areas are poor too. So, this sector of the community will benefit the most from the introduction of these technologies. It is highly economic to make use of this LED light, especially to women and children who live in the world’s poorest countries.
