Good news for the pop music lovers. Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood, the Radiohead fames are going to play this year’s Big Ask gig. The Friends of the Earth organized this concert campaign. Here is another opportuniny for people to pick the climate pop with Yorke.
Its entire goal is to get the government to enshrine in law a 3 per cent reduction in green house emissions each year! Tony & Co (or Cameron & Co) will be able to continue happily missing targets until out make reductions law, as the Big Ask’s proponents points. And violation of the law will be enforced with nasty fines. It will be held at KOKO in London on 1st May. More info on The Big Ask site here. Shortly ticket details will be announced.
