Holi, the color festival of India is going eco friendly on this 15th, in a small city of India, Kanpur. The denizens here are all geared up to throw colors in the air and to each other holding hand with nature.
‘Looking at the health hazards of chemical colors, we are getting red, green, yellow, magenta, saffron, blue colors made with henna powder, dry red hibiscus flowers, gulmohur and turmeric powder,” says an enthusiastic Sangeeta Parekh , a resident of Kanpur. Going by the harmful effects of synthetic colors, it is a wonderful and environment and health responsible decision to celebrate the age-old festival of colors.
Wish you all a brilliant and colorful Holi.
