Good news for the farmers. They can now grow fuel at home by converting vegetable oil directly into bio-diesel. By this, they will not need to depend on costly imported oil to operate their agricultural equipments.
This is all possible by the tiny chemical reactor developed by Goran Jovanovic, a chemical engineering professor at Oregon State University – the micro-reactor. But, it is amazing to now that this hugely effective device is just about the size of a credit card! Don’t get deceived by its size or look. It can pump vegetable oil and alcohol through tiny parallel channels, instantly converting the oil into biodiesel.

This is all about producing energy in such a way that it liberates people… If we’re successful with this, nobody will ever make bio-diesel any other way.
