With environmental concerns soaring each day, scientists and researchers are banking more and more on alternative or energy-efficient gadgets to save the environment without affecting our lifestyle.
I am just about to introduce another such innovation here. It is a ‘ozone-free’ printer. Yeah, you got it right. The new line of printers by Kyocera has effectively eliminated the production of ozone, by applying a positive electrical charge directly to the rollers.
Unlike most printers, those still use negatively charged rollers that generate the harmful ozone gas, this new gadget is really eco-friendly. We all are aware that ground level ozone can impair lung function. Therefore, this innovative gadget is friendly to both environment and health.
Kyocera is designed cartridge-free. Thus, the only items to be disposed of are an empty toner container and residue bottle, which again are made of plastic, identified for easy recycling.
