New affordable, eco-friendly water saving technology for farmers

Now average farmer can save hundreds of liters water that gets wasted every year! Thanks to the University of South Australia researchers. They have developed a technology — Hydro-Dis. This innovative process uses special plates and electricity to activate elements naturally occurring in water to clean up the liquid.

No, unlike other cleaning technologies, it is not illogically expensive, as is made for the farmer’s use. Along with being affordable, the technology does not use any harmful chemicals.

University researcher Phillip Moore says,

If we are reusing more water we are going to be drawing less out of the Murray… There’s more there for us to drink for one thing and secondly when you think about the lack of flow of the Murray the less water we draw the less blockage and so on.
