The north-west Victoria is to get its second major solar power project soon. The solar power station planned costs $420 million, capable of powering 40,000 homes and creating hundreds of local construction jobs.
The project is being handled by the Melbourne-based Solar Systems and Boeing, the aviation company. This project does not seem to be like any other solar-project, as it plans to use a completely different technology — literally space technology — to the proposed solar tower in south-west New South Wales, as said by Solar Systems managing director Dave Holland.
