Just a few years ago, the world market was heating up with solar panels. But, the present market contour has changed with the consumer demands for its miniaturized forms with its household usages increasing more and more.
Irish researchers seem to have made such a development by measuring photoconductivity in a single polymer nanowire. They are optimistic that this finding could eventually lead to inexpensive miniaturized solar cells and photo detectors.
