homeland integrated security systems 9A Cyber Tracker with a solar charging system is being launched for being installed on a vehicle having no independent power source. The addition of a solar powered charging system allows Homeland Integrated Security Systems, Inc. to install its Cyber Tracker on applications like — trailers, recreational vehicles and other assets, where there is no permanent power source for recharging the system.

Though 5,092,232 commercial trailers were registered in the United States in 2004 with 280,000 new trailers sold each year (as reported by the US Bureau of Transportation Statistics and the website Truckinfo.net), Ian Riley, CTO of Homeland Integrated Security Systems said,

The addition of the solar powered charging system to the Cyber Tracker opens a multitude of verticals for our product that have not been available to us in the past. Our initial testing of the solar charging system is very positive. Our hope is to have a beta version ready for trial in 2nd quarter of this year with production shortly thereafter.

Cyber Tracker technology can be applied in the field of data and tracking functions across numerous verticals, utilizing IDEN, GSM, and Satellite technologies.
