Recently, Sierra Club’ Virginia Chapter has announced a new energy plan. It has planned for making commonwealth pollution free by controlling greenhouse gases. It has also announced to minimize carbon emissions by approximately 80% by the year 2050. All this would be possible by increasing dependence on renewable energy sources and reducing reliance on petroleum or coal.

You would be amazed to know about 36 percent of energy in Virginia is being produced from nuclear power. Usage of nuclear power is ideal, as we all are aware about the global warming. Moreover, no greenhouse gases are emitted during its usage. But, it would be advisable to dispose off sagely to avoid any accidents.

This is undoubtedly a significant step towards pollution free environment. Look out for information on Sierra Club Chapter.
