Finally there is some pure unadulterated fun that we can have. I say so cause here is a toy with no batteries in it. I have always maintained that plastic & batteries are the most poorly disposed waste. Hence every chance to avoid them is welcome. But this is not just about environment; this is about a cool & cute little toy that hops around in all its glory.
The ‘solar hopping frog robot kit‘ (the name seems to be longer than the creature) is a great little fun toy. Firstly, it’s shaped pretty well & looks decent. Then there is added fun of seeing this little creature jump up & down as soon as sunlight hits it. Now if that is not fun then what is? (That’s rhetoric, so don’t even start sending in replies).
The gadget is a self-assembling kit, so that makes the thing a lot more fun. Now, though it says that it is a toy for children above 8, but that is only for the assembling part of it. I say little kids should have it too. Assemble it & give it to your kid. I bet he’ll love it. It would also promote solar energy awareness from a young age.
What about those who do not have a little one at home. Are you kidding me? There is a little kid in all of us, gift it to that side. One of my friends gifted herself a toy car called ‘unicorn’ to play with & trust me she is not one who normally plays with toy cars. But what if you don’t like frogs? Well, I do & I like to play, so you know whom to gift it to, Right? So my address for you people to mail it is… ah! Forget it; I know you won’t buy me one.
