Today we seem to be lucky because we are getting a lot of cool futuristic stuff thrown our way. Here is another invention by someone who seems to have a passion for both environment & water sports.
Joey Ruiter is someone who believes that most modern designers get too fancy when they draw the blue print for a water vehicle & neglect both practical & ecological concerns, which should be otherwise addressed. Hence instead of just living with it, he went out to get a couple of jet skies & built a cock-pit between them with the help of a local company. To this he added the power of couple of 215-horsepower motors. He made the whole frame work with recycled materials such as aluminum.

That’s it. Ruiter had made his own aqua-pod. A unique vehicle that offered far more flexibility & reach along with addressing environmental issues. It’s a great example of what you can do if you will yourself. You don’t have to be necessarily a great designer of engineer. With right idea & purposeful execution, we can all save the planet from a looming disaster. Ruiter says his vehicle goes places others never could reach & that it even operates in shallow waters. Great buddy! Keep up the wonderful work & spread the awareness. I still will call it Aqua Glider though. Sounds cool.
