Mobile phones can be a mixed blessing during travel, ok it’s great to be able to get hold of people and information when needed, but there’s nothing worse than annoying friend or relatives, trying to call you while you’re attempting to escape from the rat race. For those who do rely on their phones, however, there will soon be a greener option. The concept that Nokia is eyeing nowadays is called the eco sensor concept. The design concept is a mobile phone with compatible sensors that will help you stay connected not only to your dear ones, but inform you about your health and local environment.
It’s a two part concept, a wearable watch like device that monitors weather, health and environment conditions, and is powered by its solar strap. The data is then transferred to the Mobile phone (second part of Concept) via radio frequency. Something so portable and informative can make a huge impact on our health and environment.
