Ethanol fuel is more energy-efficient and many of us haven’t realized it yet. But to compete in international competition “Shell Ecco-Marathon”, a dozen students of Industrial Engineering at the University Miguel Hernandez of Elche have designed a vehicle that uses low consumption of ethanol as fuel. Dubbed as Datinol, it is a three wheeled vehicle that is intended to exceed 1,000 kilometers on just a liter of juice that is ethanol. The “Datinol” has a slight bodywork and aerodynamic fiberglass, as well as a new integrated electronic engine that controls the ignition and fuel injection. Coordinated by Professor of Mechanical Engineering of school, Miguel Angel Oliva, the students are aiming to duplicate the best mark set by the previous version of the car, set at 510 kilometers with one liter of fuel. The Datinol has lots more as the combustion engine, which works with ethanol, the new dual front brake system more efficient and secure new ceramic bearings that offer less friction and a clutch system that is released from the wheel to increase the use of vehicle speed. It also has an engine of 25 horses. 
Measuring just 3.20 meters long, 60 centimeters wide and 50 centimeters high, it is one of the lowest models in its class and this design significantly reduces the possibility of overturning too. 
Piloted by alumna Mary Huertas, this green conceptual vehicle will show its true colors at the French circuit of Nogaro on 23rd and 24th of May. It is hoped to achieve an average of 45 miles per hour, although the French competition will roll 30 kilometers per hour. 
But guys you need to be lighter then women to at least give this a try as for a good performance it can only bear 50 kilos of weight. Hence they have elected a woman to pilot it. Sucks! How can they have only this reason to let a female pilot it? They don’t consider in gender equalities and believe that women aren’t up to the mark? 
And if you dare to ask the cost of this ethanol powered three wheeler then get it straight on your face that it is estimated at 12000 Euros.
