Orange has been associated with the Glastonbury Festival for over ten years. Off late with the escalating awareness about environment problems, they have been trying to come up with innovative techniques through which renewable energy can be put to a better use.
Last year these service providers set up a wind powered phone charger attached to the roof of the tent. With the rising success of that idea they decided to broaden it by coming up with a recharge pod.
The best thing about this is that wind and solar energy are both put to use creating something that will benefit more than thousands of Glastonbury Festival visitors.
With increasing threats to our environment Orange has certainly decided to tone it down a bit by bringing in the concept of a recharge pod.
