Shuttle X27 -The tiny, low-power & green PC

1 OsYWr 17014

The newly released mini-desktop X27 by Shuttle, unlike its competitors, is small in size and way more effective than all of them. The new PC promises to use 23 watts in idle mode and 36 watts in use, analogous to a laptop. Falling under the Nettop category of low-cost desktop PCs, this one uses Intel’s Atom low-power chip and has “low noise” even while running on full-speed mode (23 decibels).

With a length of 10 inches and height of 7 inches, this one also has the additional benefit of being a space-saver. The pricing of this version is still unknown, however it will be available in the US by next month, and it’s also going to be on display at next week’s consumer electronics show, IFA, which starts in Berlin on August 29.
