Firefighters often deal with grave situations where even the tiniest detail could mean the difference between life and death. It might be hard to believe but despite all that fire, in many operations firefighters are left blind in some dark corners of an inferno as they try and rescue those in need. Aurora is an innovative fire hose that has a series of 8 LED lights that illuminate the area where the hose is pointed. The LEDs are powered by built-in turbines, and this not only provides illumination but tells other firefighters the exact location and direction of the fire. Simple, innovative and green- Aurora could end up saving many stranded lives.
The Dark Side:
There is well and truly nothing that you could fault with Aurora. Hopefully the technology will get enhanced in the coming years.
