Eco Factor: Zero-emission cars powered by electricity.

Catching on the “electric” path set by Tesla and Toyota, EV Innovations has launched two new all-electric cars at the New York International Auto Show. With the dual-launch, the company has made sure it answers the needs of every individual. Both the cars are entirely different and are targeting an entirely different audience.

The first to debut was the Wave, an affordable electric car for commuters that can get up to 170 miles on a single charge. Priced at $34,000 the cars can reach a top speed of 80mph. For those who like electric cars to be a bit zippier, the company has launched an all-electric sports car as well, which they’re calling the Inizio EVS. Being a sports car, the Inizio EVS can reach a top speed of 170mph and can go from 0-60 in just 4 seconds. With a better battery pack, this car is able to get up to 200 miles on a single charge. However, for this extra speed you’d have to pay about $139,000.

The Dark Side:

The company has not stated the time their electric cars need for a full charge. With the technology available today, we will mind if the cars need hours for a complete charge.
