EnerMotion has an alternative for all those who are too eager to ride a solar-powered electric car.
The company converts your car roof into a solar generator which charges the on-board batteries on the move. As a backup system the company also integrates a battery, which helps your car with those precious extra miles if you’re driving empty on an overcast day. The company claims that the backup battery and the solar chargers extend the operating range a lot, to the equivalent of a hundred miles per gallon.
