Eco Factor: Silent wind turbine generates up to 23KW of green electrical power.
With solar energy not available during night, green-minded home owners are looking forward toward portable wind turbines that can if not zero, then at least reduce their utility bills. However, most portable wind turbines aren’t as efficient as one would really like them to be. When efficiency is a matter of concern, the more blades the turbine has the better the output. Wind Simplicity is a name dedicated to developing portable wind turbines that can easily be installed in your backyard, and according to your needs the turbine can generate up to 23KW of green power, which definitely is good enough to zero your utility bills.

The company has launched three new turbines, which are specifically designed according to the requirements of a wide range of users. The Wind Dancer is the most efficient of the lot. It is a copper-colored, 8-bladed fancy residential wind turbine that is slated to be noise-free and can work in low wind speeds as well, which is an added boon if you’re living close to a skyscraper that blocks most of the wind from reaching the blades of the turbine. The Wind Dancer doesn’t need a tall tower and is available in variants that are capable of generating from 3KW to 23KW of green electrical power.

For those who just like to reduce the amount of the bills, the company offers more wind turbines that include Wind Terra, a 1.2KW wind turbine that doesn’t need a tower and can be affixed directly to your roof as it needs just 4-5 mph wind speeds to get the electricity going and the Skystream 3.7, which is a 1.8KW system that is pole mounted and carries an on-board inverter to minimize transmission losses. The Wind Dancer, which is the most efficient of the lot, can be purchased from the company’s webpage with prices ranging from $27,000 to $69,000.
