Eco Factor: Energy management system aims to reduce energy consumption.
Control4 has unveiled a Zigbee-enabled thermostat with a touchscreen interface that allows its users to view energy data and help minimize energy consumption by controlling the devices that consume the most power.
The company was contacted by utilities for the energy management system, dubbed the Energy Management System 100. The system also allows users to take part in energy efficiency programs where they can raise their air conditioner’s thermostat for a few minutes to help reduce consumption.
