York-based Archipod has unveiled a spherical pod that is made from insulated, prefabricated curved plywood that can serve as an office or an entertainment room outside your house. With a diameter of 3m, the Garden Pod is specifically targeted at the garden office market.
The Garden Pod features a pleasing roof dome that lets in natural light to conserve the energy required for artificial lighting. The pod cedar shingle exterior blends into any natural environment and its interior plastered walls ensure that the pod remains bright and comfortable.
