Eco Factor: Sustainable prefab house powered by renewable energy.
Joseph Bellomo Architects have unveiled the prototype of their modular prefabricated dwelling that can easily be flat packed for shipping. Dubbed the House Arc, the prototype home can be packed in a box measuring just 4×10×3 feet and is created in a way that would make it easy to assemble.
After assembly, the House Arc provides a space for 150 square-feet and weighs just 3000 pounds due to the use of a lightweight frame made of steel tubes. The House Arc is expected to withstand tropical winds and weather and features a solar energy generating roof to provide power to the occupants.
