Eco Factor: Zero-emission vehicle powered by an electric engine.
The Fifth Annual Michigan Energy Fair will see the launch of the EcoV all-electric vehicle developed by St. Clair-based Environmental Transportation Solutions. Hosted by the Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association, the event focuses on educating the public about renewable energy and providing opportunities for those in the sustainable energy industry.
To be featured in a special section of the show highlighting eco-friendly vehicles, the EcoV is a road-worthy private use or commercial vehicle that has an all-electric range of about 40 miles, with extended capacity of up to 65 miles. With a top speed of 25mph, the vehicle can be recharged for just 50 cents from any standard wall outlet.
The vehicle is engineered with focused attention to value, safety and reliability. The vehicle will be launched in several models that include four and six-seater vehicles that can be used for personal transportation or as a cargo carrier.
