Eco Factor: Wallcovering made from recycled newspapers.
Artist Lori Weitzner has come with a rather amazing wallcovering that tries to green your indoors with old newspapers. Christened, Newsworthy, the covering uses age-old technology of upcycling old newspapers. The newspapers are hand-woven on a loom and then paperbacked to make the covering sturdy.
The covering can be attached to both indoor and outdoor walls, but just like newspapers, the covering isn’t guaranteed against any color change or fading. Maintenance-wise the covering can be cleaned using a vacuum cleaner.
