Eco Factor: Sustainably designed urban skyscraper connects humans with nature.
Designer Woo-Young has envisioned ‘Collage Scape’ for an urban setting bereft of all that was green and natural. Aiming to splash a dash of green into the urban concrete, the designer has envisioned a sustainable sky scraper that mimics the natural world using earthy ethos.
The 600 meter-tall skyscraper planned for Incheon uses layering and fluctuating forms of energy fields, lava flows and sediment accumulation in its design to support green features. These would include a vertical park that includes climbing walls, paths for jogging and biking and picnic areas. Honoring nature the sustainable design successfully seeks to connect humans living in an ultra modern concrete city with nature.
