Eco Factor: Eco-friendly media precinct reveals a bold waterfront development.
Celebrating and supporting the growing cultural, green and community spirit of Abu Dhabi is UNStudio’s design for a new campus for Mena Zayed campus. The twofour54’s campus will be a 600,000m² media precinct with an integrated, digital environment to allow the public to engage and experience a true creative environment. It incorporates a bold waterfront development that would help in making the site an attractive destination for Arab creatives.
This new addition to Abu Dhabi’s skyline will be completely connected through a ground floor connector that features a digitally interactive environment. The squares on the podium provide openings, which give open views to the buildings. Once the structure is complete, it will communicate even from a long distance, thanks to its mediating facades, which function almost as large frames. It aims at allowing Arab content creation community to flourish and to facilitate the production of world-class Arabic media and entertainment content.
