Japanese auto manufacturer Tajima Motors has launched its new electric vehicle, the EV Mini Sport Clean Runner, in Japan. The zero-emission buggy-styled vehicle, which bears a hefty price tag of 3.5 million Yen has a top speed of 43mph and can drive for about 15 miles on the standard lead acid battery pack. The range can however be enhanced to 55 miles if you go for the lithium counterpart.

The company claims that the vehicle is designed like any other eco-friendly electric vehicle that ply on the streets, but the design, which doesn’t even include a cover to protect from rain or other weather-related problems, don’t exactly justify the thought. Moreover, the vehicle’s hefty price tag doesn’t include the battery pack, for which you’ll have to spend more according to the pack you choose.
